Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records on a daily basis, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to inform management and assist with strategic decision-making.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Utilize industry-standard accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero for data entry, processing invoices, and tracking expenses.
- Support budgeting processes by gathering financial data and collaborating with relevant departments.
- Assist in preparation for audits and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Communicate effectively with remote team members and external stakeholders to streamline financial workflows and resolve queries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional remote accounting experience, demonstrating strong self-management and productivity.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and/or Xero accounting software, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, account reconciliation, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to handle multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a remote team environment.
